Community Involvement

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) plays a vital role in supporting our school community. It is a great way for parents, carers, and community members to get involved, have a voice in school decisions, and help create a positive environment for our students.

Our Purpose

Our P&C aims to:

• Support our school community through fundraising and volunteering
• Foster strong partnerships between families, staff, and the community
• Provide a forum for discussing school policies and initiatives
• Organise events that benefit our students and community

What have the P&C contributed to the school?

Our P&C has an impressive record of improving school infrastructure and easing the financial burden of school-related expenses on families.

A major achievement was securing $120K in funding for the construction of the multi-sports court with reversible basketball and netball rings.

This is the latest in a long line of funding successes from our P&C, which include purchasing new technology for our kids, upgrading playground facilities including line markings and installing new playground equipment, supporting extracurricular activities and sports uniforms, purchasing new home readers, running educational programs, funding the Centenary Garden, purchasing garment steamers for our talented student performers and dancers, installing a defibrillator at the local Milperra shops - a piece of potentially life-saving infrastructure that has raised awareness of first aid and health, and covering the bus transport costs to the school production.

Join the P&C

We warmly welcome all parents, carers, and community members to join us. Membership is open to all members of our school community. There is a nominal annual membership fee of $1.

Meetings

Our P&C meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 3:30-5pm in the school library and via Google Meet.
